At LEH, we believe that academic strength and potential should be the only criteria for entry to our school. The Bursary Fund is at the heart of our fundraising efforts, ensuring that bright, motivated girls can access an LEH education, regardless of their background.

Thanks to the remarkable generosity of our community, we are able to support a limited number of pupils through bursaries, who would otherwise not have had the opportunity to join LEH and thrive here.

But the need is greater than ever. This year alone, we received over 100 bursary applications from exceptional candidates who would have enriched our community in countless ways. Unfortunately, increasing financial challenges and limited resources meant we could only offer support to a small number of them.

Unlike many schools with an endowment, LEH relies entirely on the generosity of donors to make our bursary provision possible. Every gift, whatever its size, makes a lasting difference, helping us create a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment where every pupil can flourish.

If you share our vision to open doors and transform futures, please consider supporting the Bursary Fund with the life-changing gift of an LEH education. Together, we can ensure that the next generation of LEH pupils reflects the rich diversity of ability and potential in society today.

“Bursaries represent more than just financial assistance. They symbolise determination, faith in every student regardless of financial circumstance, and the belief that every student deserves the chance to excel. It should be a massive point of pride that LEH is able to recognise the talents and aspirations of young individuals.”

Chloe Chen, bursary recipient, currently studying Dentistry at university
