Our Brand New Sixth Form Centre
The expansion of the Sixth Form space provides state-of-the-art facilities for our students studying for A levels at LEH. Our Head Girl team collaborated with our Estates Manager and Head of Sixth Form to create an inspiring and bright space to meet the needs of our dynamic Sixth Form. The two separate Common Rooms for Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth have been expanded and upgraded to include more flexible and informal study areas with collaboration spaces available for both year groups, as well as larger, informal spaces to relax and socialise. Sixth Form students have the flexibility and independence to cater for themselves using the Café or kitchenette when taking a break from studying. The expanded Café area, enclosed by floor to ceiling glass windows and doors, gives panoramic views of our extensive playing fields. Each student also has their own individual locker to help with the storage of books and sports kit.
In our dedicated Sixth Form library a full refurbishment has also taken place with individual, quiet study pods incorporated to give students the option to use their own laptops and tablets for quiet study. There is also a bank of charged devices to use whilst in the library. Making the most of the vista from the library windows, bar-style seating gives our students the option to study with a view if they prefer. Next door is our newly refurbished Careers Room with a wealth of information to support our Sixth Form with their next steps when they leave LEH.
The brand new Sixth Form facilities will transform the day-to-day lives of our students. Combined with our amazing Sixth Form Library, the state-of-the-art Common Rooms will ensure that our students are able to balance study and relaxation in facilities that are second-to-none.
