Gift Aid

LEH Symphony Orchestra performing at Winter Concert

We are able to reclaim the 25p of Gift Aid on every £1 you give to LEH. This makes a sizeable difference to the amount of money we can raise every year.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Lady Eleanor Holles (the charity) can claim the tax you have already paid, so your gift is increased at no extra cost to you. If you would like to make your gift tax-effective in this way, please don't forget to complete the Gift Aid declaration below when making a gift.

For a donation eligible for Gift Aid, you must pay UK Income or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount that LEH will reclaim on your donations in the tax year. Higher rate tax-payers can reclaim the difference between the higher rate and the basic rate of tax on their annual tax return, whilst company donations may be offset against corporation tax, making charitable giving hugely tax-efficient.

Every donation, large or small, can make a real difference.

LEH is in the fortunate position of being able to attract and develop many talented young women. The existence of a well-funded bursary scheme not only ensures that this education is made available to a broader group of girls, but also ensures that a safety net is in place in the event that parents of existing pupils encounter unforeseen difficulties which would otherwise result in a talented and promising pupil having to leave the school.
