ESSA Swim national finals 2018

On 17th of November the U13 A team travelled into London to compete in the ESSA Finals at the London Aquatic Centre. In the heats we had managed to get ourselves into 11th place for the Freestyle relay and 25th for the Medley Relay. First off was our Freestyle Prelims, we were all nervous but excited to race. We swam very well managing to earn ourselves a place in the final going in at 5th place. The competition was tough but we managed to come out of the final in 5th place and we were all very happy with ourselves. Not long after we’d finished we had to be back down to compete in the medley relay. Once again the competition was tough but we all swam excellent and managed to move up into 11th place just missing out on finals. In the end we and the teachers both thought that we had all swam amazingly and were very pleased with ourselves. We are more than grateful to Miss Wilson and Miss Harrison for coming with us and helping us throughout the day.
