Celia selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior World Rowing Championships
With five girls having already achieved International selection this summer, the final selection was confirmed this week with Celia (LVIH) being selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior World Rowing Championships (JWRC) in Trakai, Lithuania this week. The JWRC is the pinnacle of rowing for all Juniors and she will be racing against crews from 59 countries, all over the world.
Celia has been selected in the Junior Women’s Pairs along with Rachel from Becket School in Nottingham. The pair are looking to make the ‘A’ final and push into the medals. They will have a better idea of the opposition after the heats on Thursday morning, before the Semi-finals on Saturday and the Finals on Sunday.
We all wish Celia & Rachel the best of luck and we are delighted to see Celia achieving the success she deserves.
