On 27th September, staff and parents came together to enjoy cake and coffee in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Mrs Frampton is tremendously grateful to all the parents who helped set up and serve donated cakes or who came along to support the event. The UII Charity Representatives and School Councillors ably handed around the delicious cakes and pastries, and encouraged the visiting adults to gift aid their donations. At break, an excited line of girls waited patiently to be able to buy the left over cakes. They were very relieved to discover that their parents and teachers had not eaten everything! All the money raised will now be counted and sent to Macmillan. Thank you Mrs Frampton for all your work in organising this event.
Thank you also to Mr Zuckert for organising the BBC Music assembly in which the girls enthusiastically took part. Everyone at the Macmillan Coffee morning enjoyed the fruits of this as the girls popped outside to entertain parents with an impromptu performance of what they had been singing – a short medley of three songs, all sung at the same time by different year groups and a wonderful way to start the day!
