We have had some great Lacrosse and Netball this week as well as Swimming and Gymnastics competitions.

Last Thursday 28th Nov, we had 30 swimmers from U12 right up to U18 travel to Wimbledon High School for a Swimming Gala. All swimmers performed really well and we are awaiting their results.

On Saturday last the LEH Lacrosse teams hosted Berkhamsted School. The level of competition was high with some incredible skill displayed by both teams. Special mention to the U14A, U13B, U13C and U12 White teams for all coming away with the wins. Well done to all who took part.

The U18A, U15A and U14A rowers were due to row at Wallingford 4’s & 8’s Head, but the river was deemed too high and sadly it had to be cancelled.

It was fantastic to see our U12’s Netball play against Surbiton on Monday of this week evening despite the restriction with the weather. It was especially lovely to see so many Thirds represent LEH for the first time and be triumphant achieving 3 wins out of the 4 games played. Congratulations to all those who played and look forward to continuing success in the New Year.

On Tuesday, our LIV and IIIs were fighting it out in a packed pool to bring it home for their House in our House Swimming Gala. The noise was deafening and the atmosphere electric. The overall results will be announced next week.

On Wednesday, the U13 and U11 girls competed at the Milano Trio Gymnastics competition at Streatham and Clapham High. They all showed excellent effort and performed their routines well. A special mention to the U11 as it was their first competition representing the school. Well done to all the gymnasts who took part.

There are no fixtures this weekend which will give the teams and coaches a well-earned rest. Next week on Tuesday we will be putting on Christmas Netball for the whole school which will be a festive kick-start to the Christmas period.
