UI had an amazing time at Marwell Park Zoo near Winchester in June. They started the day with a whistle-stop tour of the weird and wonderful species on offer. The wildlife park is home to hundreds of animals from endangered tigers, snow leopards and white rhinos to giraffes, hippos and penguins.  After lunch, the girls enjoyed an ‘All About Animals’ workshop, where they even got to touch some real live snakes! The teachers were really impressed by the girls’ scientific knowledge of the animals and their habitats. The day flew by and we all wished we could have stayed longer.

‘It’s the best trip we’ve been on so far!’ Holly (UIK)

‘It was great to meet the Rock Python. It was bumpy but strangely smooth to touch.’ Huiwen (UIK)

‘Our favourite animal was the mongoose which was very inquisitive.’ Ashpreet and Audrey (UIM)
