Four students participated in the country's largest MUN conference over the weekend - Haileybury MUN 2023.

Over 300 pupils took part in the conference from different schools across the UK, Europe and the US and an impressive total of 222 resolutions were submitted on numerous topics like the war on drug trafficking, choice for women to wear a hijab, the deportation of refugees and the rights of protestors. There was also a historical committee debating topics like the question of the Young Turks War and Creating a League of Nations.

Our LEH delegates represented the delegation of Peru and did a fantastic job drafting resolutions for debate and raising points of information through diplomacy and tact. All four of them were most impressive indeed and thoroughly enjoyed the MUN experience there.

We are delighted to report that Rivonia (L6) was awarded a Distinguished Delegate Award (the highest possible award to win in her respective Social, Humanitarian and Cultural committee). It is always a huge achievement to win such an award at a prestigious conference of this size. Well done to all the students who took part.
