Chinmyee (UIE) was the first girl from LEH Juniors to qualify for the London Junior Under 10 Chess Championship, one of the strongest Junior events in the country. She has now been joined by Vibha (LIIH), who qualified from the very tough Richmond qualifying event on Saturday, 7th December. Vibha had an excellent tournament, culminating in a match against one of the top seeds in the last round.
LEH girls have continued their run of successes at the Epsom Bonanza chess tournament, where Chinmyee (UIE) and Theresa (UIIE) both won trophies. Joy (UIIE) is the Junior School champion for the 3rd time with Chinmyee in 2nd place, Advika (UIIE) in 3rd and Jahanvi (UIIE) in 4th position. Well done girls.
