LEH has donated protective equipment to its local GP network as part of the ongoing battle against coronavirus.

The school chose to donate all its protective gloves and goggles to frontline NHS workers battling the virus.

Headmistress Heather Hanbury said: "We are absolutely delighted to be able to help in this way.

“All NHS workers are on the front line of this crisis and need every support we can give them."

Shinal Patel, Clinical Director of Morden Primary Care Network and GP Partner at Stonecot Surgery, added: "Thank you ever so much for the kind donations of safety goggles and gloves.

“These are being put to use as we speak and we are extremely grateful.”

LEH also made the news last week when one of its pupils, 16-year-old Josephine (LVI) was filmed singing opera to passers by from her front garden in Esher.
