It has been another super busy week in PE with the summer sports in full swing as well as the start of our House swimming galas and the ESSA qualifiers.
On Friday 29th April we had our first time trial of the summer term with F1-U2s battling it out in the pool to try to beat their PBS. The swimming squad have worked so hard this year and continued to progress and improve huge amounts.
We also had the ESSA qualifiers on Wednesday 4th where four U2 pupils were selected to go to Dulwich College in order to strive for qualifying time in their strokes to qualify for the England Schools Final in June. The girls all swam amazingly and were such an asset to the school.
Swimming Captain’s report
Last Friday, swim squad had our first time-trial of the new term as well as welcoming two new Form 1s, Ekin and Raffy! We all swam our very best and we achieved so many PBs, well done everyone!
The whole squad were very supportive of each other, swimming hard and kicking furiously to climb up that PB ladder. We were organised, determined and eager to win, and this attitude motivated us to improve each time.
A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers who timed us and were so supportive, and especially to Mrs Sehgal who organised this whole event.

Our first couple of house galas have been a huge success, with L2 and F1s leading the way. The girls absolutely loved cheering each other on and swimming for their houses. They also particularly liked the cookie as a special treat after!
Well done to all the girls for their fantastic effort and enthusiasm.
