Wow, what an amazing term of PE we have had. The girls have been extremely busy undertaking a range of sports both in lessons and within extra-curricular clubs. It has been great for the girls to continue to work on their netball and swimming, as well as learning badminton, football and fitness in their lessons.

Form 1 pupils finished the week with their house competition, competing in Capture the Flag. The girls absolutely loved the friendly competition and house camaraderie.

Well done to all the girls for their efforts and enthusiasm.

House positions:

1st Hackney – 13

2nd Summerleigh– 11

2nd Burlington - 11

3rd St Giles – 6

We have also had so many opportunities for the girls outside of the classroom with numerous netball matches, tournaments, swimming galas and gymnastics competitions. It has been fantastic to see the girls enjoying and competing in sport again after the pandemic.

On Wednesday 23rd March, we had a day of celebrating our gymnastics successes with a competition at Streatham High where Isobella, Isabella and Zoe took part in a tumbling competition. All three of the girls did fantastically well, amazing the judges with exceptional skills.

As well as this, we had our Annual Gymnastics Display that evening where we had over 35 girls from U1, L2 and U2 display their skills and perform a routine. The musical theme came to life on stage and the girls performed beautifully. Well done!

Our final sporting event of the term was the Swimming IAPS Gala on Thursday 24th March where 11 girls were selected to compete. The girls swam their hearts out and did brilliantly. A huge well done to all the girls that competed.
