For their second virtual choir project, the Holles Singers decided to learn and record the luscious ‘Loving Kindness’ by Howard Goodall. He composed this Eastern blessing for Aled Jones and dedicated it to the sacrifice and courage of health workers during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. The composer himself said “this is wonderful – brava” when hearing our performance on Twitter, and Aled Jones wrote “what a beautiful performance and a huge congratulations to all involved!” We salute the efforts of health workers and all those on the front line at this difficult time.
