LII and UII girls spent the morning of 9^th November discovering all about the Enigma Machine, codes and code breaking. Dr James Grime came in to school to explain the original WWII Enigma Machine. He told them a little about the history of code breaking. We were lucky enough to see an original Enigma Machine and James explained how the machine worked. After the talk, each class then had a workshop where they solved various codes to find out information about two famous code breakers. The girls really enjoyed the day.
