Catherine (UIV) has been chosen as one of the eight finalists for the BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year Competition. She has been singing with St John’s Church in Wimbledon this year, with whom she entered the competition. Her brother is also a finalist. She will be broadcast on Radio 2 on Sunday 15th December. The Final was recorded in the BBC Philharmonic Studio at Media City UK on Saturday 19th October 2019.

Catherine commented, “It was really exciting to be in Media City, Salford for the Radio 2 Chorister of the Year competition, and an honour to sing for the four judges in the BBC Philharmonic Studio. It was so special to have my brother there with me as a finalist too.”
