Another successful and enjoyable day was had by all 27 enthusiastic LEH pupils, debating with great ardour, confidence and diplomacy at Benenden School's MUN Conference on Monday, 4th December.

Delegates representing the delegations of Bangladesh, Iran, Malta, Palestine and Zimbabwe worked collaboratively and discussed solutions to pertinent topics such as long-term debt sustainability for developing countries, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, ethical AI regulation and misuse of emergent intelligent technologies, regulation of deep-sea mining and the promotion of women's rights and gender equality in conflict-affected areas.

A huge congratulations to all that took part and especially to Maya (UNWOMEN committee for Zimbabwe), Polina (DISEC committee for Malta) and Mariya (Security Council for Malta) who were awarded Commended Delegate Awards.
