Guys and Dolls

After weeks of rehearsals for the cast and crew, LEH and Hampton School staged a stunning production of Guys and Dolls. This Musical Fable of Broadway, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling, is based on two short stories by Damon Runyon, ‘The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown' and 'Blood Pressure'.

Staged on four evenings from the 18th October, the show has received outstanding reviews from the audience who were in awe not only of the performance of the whole cast but also the set, the choreography, the lighting and, of course the wonderful band. Special mention must go to the lead characters, Miss Adelaide (Megan Costello/Katie Nicholas), Sarah Brown (Paige Reynolds/Magenta Merrony), Sky (Jonno Goldstone) and Nathan (Ludo Fahey).

The production would not have been possible without the energy and dedication of Dr Ben Tait (Director) and Mrs Miranda Ashe (Musical Director). Names are too numerous to mention, but a big 'thank you' and congratulations to everyone involved in this wonderful show.
