300th Anniversary - Book Launch of School's History
The eagerly awaited book launch of Grace and Integrity: A Portrait of The Lady Eleanor Holles School took place on Tuesday 15th November. During the reception, Mrs Low paid tribute to the author, former LEH teacher and historian, Elizabeth Hossain, for her tenacity and research, bringing the remarkable story of LEH to life. The reception was also attended by Julian Platt, Chairman of Third Millennium Information, publishers of this beautiful book.
Subscribers, including many alumnae, pupils and parents quickly formed a queue to have their copies personally signed by the author. Guests also had the chance to view first hand, part of the wonderful archive collection of documents and photographs, which have been so carefully assembled and documented by the LEH's archivist and former Deputy Head, Mrs Patricia White.
With reminiscences from former pupils and staff, and fascinating facts which dispels a number of myths about the school, Grace and Integrity: A Portrait of The Lady Eleanor Holles School, will make a wonderful memento. To order a copy of the book, please contact the School Office.
