Accountancy Sponsorship Awards
Two members of the Upper Sixth have been awarded places on very prestigious sponsorship programmes run by international accountancy firms.
An Ernst and Young Scholarship has been awarded to Katherine Stonehouse. After leaving LEH, Katherine will take up a paid internship during the summer break and sponsorship throughout her university studies. Whilst at university Katherine will act as an ambassador for the company and will undertake other paid work placement s during the holidays. Katherine is applying to read Economics at university.
Kate Davis will be joining Deloitte as a “Scholar” for part of her gap year. She will be working as a paid intern for 30 weeks before taking up a Deloitte travel bursary to see the world. Kate will undertake paid placements for Deloitte during university summer breaks. In addition, Deloitte will pay an annual bursary to help with Kate's university fees. Kate has applied to study History after her gap year.

Both students faced fierce competition to secure their places. After successfully completing online tests, the students went through several further rounds of assessment, including a day of group and individual testing, and interviews.
