Senior News Archive - 2008 Written by Denise Deegan, this spiffing good yarn is set in Grange-wood girls’ boarding school in 1927.
Daisy (played by Stephanie Powell) wins the first ever scholarship to the school and embarks on many adventures with her pal ‘Trixie’ played by Alex Laidlaw. Despite the difficulties evoked by the ‘rotters’ (Natasha Doley) and Monica (Charlotte Born) Daisy finally wins the hearts of all at the school.
Directed by Miss Morgan and with a cast and stage management from members of the Thirds, Fourths and Fifths, the audience very much enjoyed this thoroughly good romp of a play.
