Senior News Archive - 2008 With a "red" theme in strong evidence, a number of fund raising events were held on Friday, 30th November throughout the school to raise awareness of World AIDS Day.
The events were organised by the 'Make Poverty History' group and included a "red" Mufti Day and a "red" Cake Sale.
The highlight of the day was the release of hundreds of red balloons containing messages of hope and support, personally written by pupils.
The money raised throughout the day will be shared between the National Aids Trust and the Save the Children Fund in support of their Memory Books Project. Special thanks to the organising team and everyone who took part. |
