Operation Christmas Child

As part of  the 'Operation Christmas Child'  project, girls throughout the school have been busy turning ordinary shoeboxes into gift-filled presents for needy children around the world. Each shoe box is filled with a selection of small toys, school supplies and sweets.

Counting the stacked shoeboxes proved quite a challenge but eventually a magnificent total of 211 boxes was reached.

Organised by the Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project and each year the shoeboxes are distributed around the world to children in hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters and impoverished neighbourhoods.

A big thank you to everyone who has helped with this worthy cause.
