Links with Local Maintained Schools
The school is an active member of the Hampton Independent and State Schools' Partnership (the Hampton ISSP, formerly know as the Hampton Executive), a group of state secondary schools in the Richmond Borough, working under the chairmanship of Sir John Rowling, with LEH and Hampton School, to raise educational standards and to promote social cohesion.
The activities of the Hampton ISSP were, until 2009-10, largely funded by the DCSF. From 2009-10, they are funded directly by the two independent school partners and the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston, alongside a smaller contribution from the DCSF.
Events organised and/or funded by LEH during 20010-11 were as follows:
- Organising and funding a Model United Nations Conference for Year 10 pupils (100+ pupils from 7 schools)

These sessions are run by LEH staff and mentored by nine members of the Sixth Form, using the school's facilities. See http://www.shinetrust.org.uk/site/pages/119_thelehs.php
LEH pupils organise, and help supervise, events for children with moderate learning and behavioural issues. These include a ‘Splash and Gym' event, using the school's sporting facilities free of charge; two day trips – one to a museum in London and one to a city farm, funded jointly by LEH and Hampton School.

The school has strong music links with several local primary, junior and infant schools. Over recent years, we have run Opera workshops and assisted with school concerts. In June 2010, LEH commissioned a major new cantata for pupils at local primary schools, ‘And all that…'. Written by a member of staff at LEH, the work was performed at Hampton Court Palace by a choir of over 100, comprising singers from Hampton Junior School, Carlisle Infant School, The Lady Eleanor Holles School and the Hampton Hill Singers, an adult community choir, under the direction of the school's Director of Music.
In addition, the Director of Music led a Family Opera Night Evening at Hampton Hill Junior School, rehearsing and directing singers from Hampton Junior School and the Hampton Hill Singers. This also involved leading whole-school assemblies.
The Director of Music continues to act as an adviser for local music teachers.
The school invites visiting speakers from a range of different universities for talks in Classics.
