Pastoral Care
Pastoral care has a high priority at the school, and staff are committed to promoting the welfare and happiness of each girl.

Sport
The school's extensive grounds enable a wide variety of sports to be played on site and the Sports Hall has allowed further diversification of both the curricular and extra curricular activities on offer. Girls play lacrosse and netball in the winter terms and tennis and athletics in the summer. There is the opportunity to swim all year round in the indoor heated pool.

Music
We are justifiably proud of our music department which sustains the highest standards in performance and as an academic study. There are junior, senior and madrigal choirs, string and full orchestras and numerous groups which may include wind band, jazz band, saxophone group, viola group, brass group, rock bands and several small ensembles. There are many opportunities to perform in groups reflecting in a wide range of musical styles. We have a 60-strong classical symphony orchestra. It has achieved success at national level and has performed at the Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall, as well as appearing on Channel 4 television.

Drama
In addition to Drama within the curriculum, the school offers various extra-curricular opportunities to perform, direct and produce, and the productions and activities are not only very popular, but of an extremely high standard.

The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, on and off site, that enrich the education offered to the girls.
