About the Senior Department
Girls at LEH
Girls at LEH
The special characteristics of the Senior Department include not only the high academic standards for which it is nationally renowned, but a well-balanced, purposeful and productive ethos. Girls enjoy their studies, but also relish the range of opportunities the school provides in sport, the creative arts and many extra curricular activities. They also value the sense of community at the school and are exceptionally well supported by academic and pastoral staff. Above all, their happiness and well-being, the development of their self-esteem as well as their many talents, and their appreciation of the positive role they can play in the community are priorities at the school. Girls enter the Senior Department from a wide range of independent and maintained schools, as well as our own Junior Department.
