Sophie’s best tennis results came at the HSBC U14 Road to Wimbledon tournament, an event played at Aorangi Park, Wimbledon. Sophie, 14, reached the final before losing to the Number 1 seed, Emma Devine but teamed up with Charlotte Pearce to win the doubles. As a result of this, Sophie has been invited to join the HSBC Sporting Exchange to visit Shanghai in November which includes four days with Bjorn Borg and an exclusive session with Sergio Garcia on what it takes to become a successful sportsperson.

Head Girl, Hannah has also been very busy on the sporting front. After many successes on the tennis circuit since Easter and as a result of qualifying for an U18 International tournament in Ireland, she has been given her international ranking of 1517 and a national ranking of 32 in the U18 age group even though she is only still 16!
Both sisters are actively involved at the highest level in a whole range of sports. Sophie is Captain of the undefeated England U14 Rounders team and was also the Top Scorer for the third year in a row.
Hannah has also continued her sporting success in lacrosse by being selected for a Senior England training weekend which involves the top 52 players in the country.
Well done Sophie and Hannah and we wish you good luck in all your future matches.
