AT the end of the Summer Term, 40 members of the Junior Department Choir sailed across the Channel to The Netherlands. In four short days the choir sang two major concerts, one at the picturesque village of Broek-in-Waterland and the music for one Mass as a very friendly church in Delft.

It wasn’t all work. Miss Barnes had organized a canal trip in Amsterdam and a special visit to the Royal Pottery in Delft. The sun shone throughout our visit, even when we went paddling in the sea at the lovely beach in Noordwijk-an-Zee, just a short walk from our hotel.
