Members of the Service Volunteers took pupils from Marjory Kinnon School to Bockett’s Farm on Friday 22nd June. Eleven girls from the Lower Sixth and nine boys from Hampton joined forces to make sure that all the pupils from Marjory Kinnon Special School had an unforgettable day!
The weather was with us and it was warm and sunny for the pig races where Miss Ostrander’s favourite, Greased Lightening took first place followed closely by Frankie de Trotter!
The tractor-trailer ride was a firm favourite with lots of the students and we were all impressed by the speed and amount of milk produced by Nelly the goat! With lots of animals to visit and a trip to the gift shop it was a full day of activities and we all left feeling tired but happy.
