'Save the Children' Tennis Tournament

On Saturday 19th May, girls form the Thirds and Lower Fourths and took part in the 'Save the Children Tennis Tournament', together with pupils from Danes Hill School.

Well done to everyone who took part

For once the sun was shining and we were able to make use of the grass courts. Everyone played very well in a fun and tennis filled morning.

Finalists:Kitty Russman, Ellie Bryant, Katie Bryant and Saskia Hughes

The final, involved Ellie Bryant and her partner Kitty Russman against Katie Bryant and her partner Saskia Hughes. In a very tight match with some excellent rallies the final winners were Ellie and Kitty. They now go through to the regional finals and hopefully through to the national finals of this tournament.

Winners: Kitty Russman and Ellie Bryant

Whilst we had a fun morning, the main aim was to raise money for this worthwhile charity and we hope to raise in the region of £800.

Well done to all the girls who took part and congratulation and good luck to Ellie and Kitty in their future matches.
