| The school is surrounded by playing fields and gardens. |
The school stands on a wonderful thirty acre site surrounded by gardens and playing fields. This spacious environment allows a great range of outdoor sporting activities, and has also enabled us to build numerous extensions to enhance our facilities and the curriculum we offer.
 |
| The Swimming Pool |
These additions include a gymnasium, an indoor heated swimming pool, the Ruth Garwood-Scott Art and Design Centre, a Music and Drama wing, large Sixth Form Common Rooms, an impressive Sixth Form Library and classroom block, a dining hall, chapel and additional science laboratories.
 |
| The Boathouse |
At Sunbury, a Boat House, owned jointly with Hampton School, was opened in 2000, and in 2001 our large Sports Hall, adjacent to the Swimming Pool, came into use.
Within the original building, in addition to the Nora Nickalls Hall and extensive classroom accommodation, the Main School Library, a Design and Technology Suite, science laboratories and ICT facilities are located.
 |
| The Junior ICT Room |
The Junior Department occupies a very attractive building, Burlington House, originally used as the school’s boarding house, on the northern side of our site. It underwent complete renovation and considerable extension in 2003 and the classrooms are large, light and airy. There are superb specialist rooms for ICT, Art, DT, Science and Music.
Junior girls make full use of the school’s magnificent sports facilities including the pool. They enjoy their own play area, with a trim trail and climbing frame, and their own dining room.
The school has installed lifts in both Departments to improve wheelchair access.
