The LEH ‘A' crew progressed to the semi finals, where they won in style and consequently looked hot for a medal in the final. The girls did not disappoint and won a well deserved Bronze medal!

Junior Fourteen Octuple Sculls
15 crews entered this event and rowed a time trial where 12 progressed to the semi finals. LEH placed 2nd in the semi final and were confident going into the final although times suggested that it would be a long hard race for the medals. Despite their best efforts, the LEH crew narrowly missed out on the Bronze to Headington School. Junior Fifteen Coxed Fours
16 crews entered this event and rowed a time trial where 12 progressed to the semi finals. All three LEH crews entered progressed to the semi finals, this was a fantastic result in itself. Unfortunately the ‘C' crew did not progress through the Semi Final stages, however both the ‘A' and ‘B' crews qualified and the ‘A' crew had posted the fastest time in the semi finals. Both crews rowed well in the strong field of crews but it was the LEH ‘A' crew that truly excelled themselves. They came storming through the line to win the Gold for LEH, an absolutely fantastic result - well done!

Junior Fifteen Coxed Quad
Our Bronze medal winning J15s raced in this event to gain experience. 26 crews entered this event and rowed a time trial where 18 progressed to the next stage. With only two crews from each semi final progressing to the final, the crew narrowly missed out on the final, having placed 3rd in their semi final. This was still a fantastic achievement for a young crew. The crew: Rebecca Cherret, Amy Poglase, Alice OMalley, Alice Elliot, Celia Davies (cox)
Junior Fifteen Eight
After such fantastic results the previous day, the J15 8+ started the day with great confidence. The crew found themselves in the fastest semi final and progressed to the final in 3rd position. Times suggested that it would be a race of 4 boats for only 3 medals. Unfortunately it was the LEH boat out of the four crews chasing the medals, that missed out this time.
The crew: Hazel Bruce, Emma Bentley-Fox, Imogen Misso, Amelia Dunster, Zaina Sharif, Emma Cates, Anna Stuart, Antonia Austyn, Eloise Rogers (cox)

School Junior Coxed Four
After having won the Schools Head in March, the crew was eager to go for gold once again. The girls laid down the marker in the time trial, with the next fastest crew being 20 seconds behind them. They didn't disappoint in the semi final and rowed with confidence to another 1st position by some 22 seconds. The crew approached the final with great confidence and rowed to an impressive gold medal- congratulations!
The crew: Georgina Lloyd, Sophie Littler, Katya Miryanova, Rosie Robson, Elizabeth Williams (cox)
Championship Eights
It was clear from the times of the semi finals (where LEH won one semi and Headington School won the other) that there was going to be a mighty battle for gold. As the race started, LEH nudged their bows ahead of Headington School and took a lead of half a canvas (a few feet). Progressing through the race, the two school crews walked away from the rest of the field and LEH maintained their canvas Lead despite many pushes from Headington to move ahead. It was not until 400m to go that Headington made a push that broke LEHs Lead and put them into first position. Despite a valiant effort from all LEH girls, Headington School crossed the line a mere 2 seconds ahead, over a race that took almost 8minutes. The LEH crew took Silver Medal position, 20seconds ahead of Molesey BC in Bronze. Despite being disappointed on the day, the crew should be proud of their achievement.
The crew: Emily Castle, Grace Bolton, Georgie Ricahrd, Tabitha Brown, Thea Vukasinovic, Louisa Bolton, Elizabeth Horne, Kate Davis, Charlotte Trundley (cox)
Sunday 29th May
Due to poor conditions all races were run over 1000m in time trial racing only.
Junior Eighteen Coxless Pairs
Kate Davis and Emily Castle from the Championship 8+ rowed the pair and with little to no practice outings (because of their 8+s training), the girls entered the day feeling relaxed and under no pressure, just ready to enjoy racing. Their calm approach to racing paid off and they placed 5th overall, only 3 seconds away from a Bronze medal. This was an excellent end to the regatta for this crew. The crew: Kate Davis, Emily Castle
Junior Sixteen Coxed Fours
The crew rowed with great length and rhythm into the strong Nottingham Head Wind and felt pleased with their race. However time trial results were later read out and LEH had achieved Silver medal position, a mere 0.2seconds behind Molesey Boat Club. Although a fantastic result, it was very disappointing for the girls to have missed out on Gold so narrowly!
The crew: Georgie Lloyd, Harriet Evans, Elizabeth Horne, Grace Bolton
Championship Coxless Fours
This crew, made up of girls from the Championship Eight the previous day came back fighting and absolutely determined to go back to LEH with a Gold. Their race was punchy and aggressive and when the results came out, they got what they had been waiting for, LEH were in Gold medal position ahead of Molesey BC and Durham School in Silver and Bronze.
The crew: Georgia Richard, Tabitha Brown, Thea Vukasinovic, Louisa Bolton
