Middlesex County Netball Finals

The netball squads achieved a fantastic clean sweep at the Middlesex County Finals, with LEH netball teams winning all four age groups. The U14 and U16 teams won all their matches, whilst the U19 and the U15 teams both won 4 out of their 5 games,  winning on goal average.

U14

Our U14s played very well, working hard to develop their play with each game. They won all 5 matches easily with the top score against them only being 6 goals, an indication of their strong team defence. They beat Godophin and Latymer 9 -6, Drayton Mayer 7 -1, St Pauls 6-4, Notting Hill and Ealing High School 14 – 6 and Latymer Upper 20 -2.

U15

The U15s lost their first game against City of London 7-9. However,  the team then went on to beat Latymer Upper 13-3, Godolphin and Latymer 12-4 and Vyners 11-6. In the last  match against St Pauls, who were so far undefeated in the tournament, LEH won 8-7. This meant that there was a tie for 1st place with LEH, City of London and St Pauls all on the same amount of points but finally LEH were crowned champions, on goal average.

U16

The Under 16 squad played an outstanding level of netball and were undefeated in the entire tournament. They beat Mossbourne 15-1, Highlands 12-9, St Pauls 15-7, Vyners 12-5 and St Helens 15-7.

U19

The U19s won 4 out of the 5 games in total only going down to St Pauls by 2 goals due to some unforced errors towards the end of play. They beat Bishop Ramsey 10 -2, City of London 13 -7, St Helens 18 -5 and North London 8 -5. St Pauls having also lost in pool play it came down to a count back on goal differential meaning we were overall winners for 2010

A very successful day for LEH netball winning all four age groups, a fantastic way to end the netball season. A huge thank you to all staff and parents for your support on the day.
