Budding gymnasts Cicely Irwin (Thirds) and Umber Sohal  (Lower II) have been selected to attend trials to represent Great Britain at the Acro World Championships in April.

Selection follows their success at the British Open Acro and Tumbling Tournament, held in December at Stoke on Trent.  Cicely and her partners finished in Silver medal position competing against 16 other Junior Women's Groups, including four from the USA. At the same event, Umber Sahal, from the Junior Department and her partner came third amongst a strong group of gymnasts.

The Great Britain trials will take place in early February and March, following which the final selection of partnerships will take place. Both girls have trained incredibly hard and done exceptionally well to reach the selection stage.
